We are absolutely delighted with the whole experience of commissioning and buying bespoke stained glass art from Blue Butterfly Glass. Ellie tuned in to what we were wanting and then guided us expertly and sensitively through the whole process of design and choice of glass. When the panels were completed they exceeded our expectations. They enhance our house and give us a lift every time we walk past them. We have already had initial discussions about a further commission.

Glass Butterfly Picture

I have a beautiful commission that exceeds my expectations. From first meeting Ellie in her workshop, I felt that I could trust her to listen to my requirements, add her own inspiration, and produce a unique piece of art that I will treasure forever. The process was conducted largely over the Internet with friendly exchanges of ideas, sketches, and photographs. The resulting panel is magnificent, adorning my landing window both in sunlight and at night. I was so pleased with the craftsmanship that I promptly bought some jewellery and Christmas decorations too. Thank you!

Glass House Parties - Beautiful Handmade Glass Products

Ellie creates beautiful and imaginative designs out of glass, there is something for everybody in her collection. Her products make great gifts at a price that will suit your budget.

I have hosted two glass evenings over the last couple of years, with my next one pencilled in , not only were the evenings a huge success they were a really enjoyable experience. My house looked amazing with all the glass products displayed, people came had a glass of wine and a chat purchased a product and in doing so raised some money for a charity of my choice. Ellie sets it all up, and is there on hand to give advise or design bespoke pieces so there is no really work involved, I would recommend the experience to anybody".

We are absolutely delighted with the whole experience of commissioning and buying bespoke stained glass art from Blue Butterfly Glass. Ellie tuned in to what we were wanting and then guided us expertly and sensitively through the whole process of design and choice of glass. When the panels were completed they exceeded our expectations. They enhance our house and give us a lift every time we walk past them. We have already had initial discussions about a further commission.

My husband and I have been renovating, over many years, our home at The Old Post Office in Monks Kirby.  We are coming close to finishing a 3 year period of extending and renovations that should see our family home finally completed to our specification.

As part of the divide between our Dining area and the entrance hall we had space for a small internal window and decided that we would like to purchase a stain glass window as a decorative feature. We had some ideas on the design and wanted it to be tailored to the history of our house by using the crown depicted in the old GPO (General Post Office) signature.

We had no idea whether this would be possible and were consequently delighted when we stumbled across Butterfly Glass.  Ellie worked patiently with our concepts and sympathetically showed us how we could create the picture we wanted and how best to use different textured glass and colours to achieve the overall effect. Producing many sketches for our consideration and inviting us into her workshop to view and discuss various options and ideas.

We are absolutely delighted with the finished result and it is now proudly installed within our home for, we hope, many, many years to come.

Garden Sculpture - Many thanks my garden is transformed!

I am very pleased with my garden structure. I was able to choose my own colours from samples sent to me.  Ellie was very quick to respond to my e-mails and my finished glass gem arrived promptly and safely.
