Stained Glass Work Bench - 5 Leaded Panel Set
Leaded panel number 3 (see previous few blogs for other stained glass panels in this set of 5)

As you can see the subtle glass colours continue to sweep through to this 3rd stained glass panel, along with the strong lead line which help form the whole glass picture.
When it comes to making a set of leaded windows such as these, the colours of the glass are very important, not only for the full effect the window will give but also in relation to the style & decor of its surroundings. Also the windows scale has to be taken into consideration becaucse of the amount of each glass colour that is needed. Glass colours have a corresponding code so you can buy the same glass each time, just like a ball of wool will have a batch number, but across different batches of glass sheets the colours can change slightly so I always buy sheets of glass in one go & large enough to complete the job, so the colour variations are down to a minimum, 99% of the time buying the glass like this means there is no change in the colour throughout the whole window.
